First Week at PromGirl

PromGirl is an international online retailer. The company has been around since 1997 and sells brandname dresses for special occasions. Since the opening in 1997, the company has expanded to owning other brands and renaming the company Occasion Brands. I'll be working on projects for all branches (PromGirl, Simply Dresses, and Kleinfeld Bridal Party). I started on 9/11 for internship orientation where the other interns and I took a tour of the corporate office in NYC. We also learned about different resources we would be using throughout our internship. All the interns were given a welcoming gift—a tote bag filled with PG branded goodies and a plastic tiara. My first day was on the 13th, and I immediately started working. I got the brand guide and created a few social media posts and a social card that we pack in giveaway boxes. I also started a spreadsheet to organize pictures that we need to edit or retake.
