                      Let's Talk
               About me

Hey there! That heading wasn't meant to sound narcissistic, I                                                        promise.  I'm Ariana Dela Vega, a freshman at Montclair State                                                     University and I'm a graphic designing major! My favorite color                                                    is orange because of Sailor Venus from Sailor Moon-I guess you                                                 can say I'm a bit of an anime nerd. Along with anime, I love                                                           video games, Marvel and DC Comics. I'm only 5 feet so I am travel sized. I have a habit of using different voices for fun and I love to create things. The only sport I know anything about is fencing, because I did fencing for three years as a foil fencer. I do a lot of different arts and crafts, such as drawing, origami, sewing, jewelry wire working/wire beading, basket making, sculpting and more! Last but not least, I am friendly and I love to have fun and help others.
Artist statement:
As a graphic designer, I hope to produce noticeable and rememberable pieces for billboards, magazine spreads, posters and more in the future. Studying at MSU will give me the knowledge I need for the adobe programs and improve my designing skills. My favorite program to use is Adobe Illustrator and I look forward to learning more about Photoshop and InDesign. I want to understand how to create a successful and lasting design, improve my layout methods, gain more skill in editing photos in photoshop and how to bring all of these wonderful elements in InDesign-which I believe is the hardest program to learn, but of course not impossible.
